Canon launched RF 14-35mm F4L IS USM lens in India at Rs 1,55,995
Canon India has recently unveiled a new member of its RF-mount lens line-up. It is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens called Canon RF 14-35mm F4L IS USM.
Canon has announced the RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM, a more affordable wide-angle alternative to its existing RF 15-35mm F2.8. Their RF mount lenses are popular for their good quality images as well as their video capabilities. Canon India recently introduced a new addition to its RF mount lens line. This is an ultra wide angle zoom lens called Canon RF 14-35mm F4L IS USM. The new lens, in effect, complements the F4L trinity of RF lenses that include the RF 24-105mm F4L IS USM and the RF 70-200mm F4L IS USM.
The steady zoom lens provides up to 5.5 stops of correction, which increases to 7 stops when used on an RF camera with in-body stabilization. It includes both Canon's Sub-wavelength Structure Coating (SWC) and Air Sphere Coating (ASC) to reduce ghosting and flare.
The lens is composed of 16 elements and 9 aperture blades in 12 groups. Features Subwavelength Structure Coating (SWC) and Air Sphere Coating (ASC) to reduce flare and ghosting problems. The front element of the lens has a fluorine coating on its surface that repels oil and water. However, the composite lens is resistant to dust and drips, allowing users to shoot even in tough conditions. In addition, the lens is equipped with a nano-ultrasonic motor that has good autofocus capability for still image and video recording.
The RF 14-35mm F4L IS USM comes with 77mm filter thread, a control ring, and weighs approximately 540 grams. The RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM will be available in August for a recommended price of $1700. Camera users can get this lens in India for Rs 1.55,995.
